Rum Caramel Sauce - {Adults Only}

Customers ask me all the time how to make caramel sauce/ice cream topping using Red Kite Caramel. It's really simple. It's so easy. Just 2 ingredients. Choose your favorite Red Kite Flavor and add your favorite Rum which makes this an ADULT ONLY topping!

Pour it on ice-cream or drizzle on brownies. These are just two ways this versatile topping can be used. If using it on ice cream, add a piece of RKC toffee to finish the dessert. Your guests will swoon.

Red KiteTM Rum Caramel Topping

Ingredients:

Red Kite Caramel {your flavor choice}

4 oz

Tablespoon Dark Rum {I use Myers's Original Dark Rum}

1 Tablespoon {Add more rum if stronger rum taste is desired}



Heat caramel on 50% power for 40 - 50 seconds. Add rum and stir. Heat again on half power if needed / or to desired consistency.

Drizzle or spoon...you know the rest.

NOTE: Milk or Cream can be substitued for the rum for a non-alcoholic caramel sauce - follow same procedure.
